Driving from SJO/Juan Santamaría Airport to El Silencio:
After exiting the airport take Calle La Candela and Highway 122 towards Bernardo Soto Highway (Autopista in Spanish) / Road 1 (Carretera in Spanish) in San Antonio, by heading west on Calle La Candela.
Then turn right towards Carretera 122, turning right at Vidrios Don Antonio towards Road (Carretera) 124.
Turn left and pass by Cafeteria La Estacion (on the right).
Drive from 1 mile and turn slightly left onto Bernardo Soto Highway (Carretera 1).
Keep driving on Bernardo Soto Highway/Road 1 for 28.5 miles (about one hour) then turn right towards Road 141 in Zarcero.
Continue towards Highway 141, pass by "Costumbres Comida Típica de Turno" (on the right).
Turn left at Macrobiótica "Healthy Bay" towards Avenue (Avenida in Spanish) 1 / Road 141, continue towards Road 141, pasa by IMP Publicidad (on the left), keep driving in Road 141 for 11.7 miles, until you reach the Zarcero's Church and Park on your right.
Turn right at "Almacen Lucky" towards Central Avenue (Avenida Central in Spanish), pass by "Mirandas Restaurante Zarcero" (on the left).
After 1.42 miles turn right towards Street (Calle in Spanish) Tres Hermanos, turn right at the 1st intersection. Then, turn right towards Calle Palmira. Pass by Bar Restaurante Los Cipreses (on the left in 0.2 miles). Continue straight and go past the church (on the right in 0.27 miles).
Continue Street al chayote, this street turns slightly to the right to get on the road Zarcero - Bajos del Toro (where El Silencio Lodge is located).
Keep driving for 3.8 miles and pass by Bosque de Paz Lodge (on the left in 2.7 miles), then turn right at Valle de Truchas towards Road 708, finally turn right and continue until you right the entrance where our guard welcome you.
